What is Pentecost?

Pentecost is one of three pilgrimage festivals.  This is where everyone would come to Jerusalem for a weeklong festival.

Pentecost or the feast of the first fruits was also a celebration of the giving of the Commandments of God.

Exodus 19 we see how Pentecost is to be celebrated 50 days after Passover.  The festival of Pentecost is good, but it’s pointing to something greater.

       The miracles/signs point us to something greater…they point us to the miracle maker…they point us to Jesus.
