FAQs

After parking, you'll see two buildings. Please come to the Worship Center. If you have kids, we will help you check them in and a volunteer will give you a tour of the Activity Center where your kids will have Sunday School and/or Jr. Church. Greeters will direct you to the worship center (sanctuary), restrooms and nursery. In the foyer, we offer coffee and hot chocolate and sometimes donuts and cookies. Also in the foyer is a table with balloons attached. That's where you can meet the Pastor after the service.

Services last 60-75 minutes. We start with a Call to Worship, lead by one of the pastoral staff. Then we sing 3-4 songs together with lyrics on the screen for everyone to follow. Then one of the pastoral staff leads the congregation in prayer which is followed by an offering. As a guest, you are not expected to give. Announcements follow. Then the speaker, typically our lead pastor, Andy Heer, shares a message from the Bible. Before his message, he dismisses kids 5th Grade and under to Junior Church.

That is not a problem. Our desire is to see you move from where you are spiritually to where God wants you to be. We offer a variety of small groups to help you take your next step in your spiritual journey. If you are unsure of what your next step might be, meet with one of the Pastoral Staff after the service at Hernando in 5 table (look for silver and blue balloons) and he or she will answer your questions and guide you to a small group that best fits your needs.
