Thank you for your support! God provides the ministry of our church through your tithes and offerings. These gifts are honored with faithful stewardship, ethical business practices and accountability to our local church and to our denomination. It's more than keeping the lights on and keeping the roof repaired. It's about personal worship to God and giving back a small portion of what He already owns. It's about lives changing through the transformative power of the Gospel in our community and beyond.

TITHES AND OFFERINGS

Tithes: God's Word calls us to obediently "title" (give 10%) of what He gives us. If you regularly give less than 10%, you are a regular giver. Thank you for your support! Your next step is to become a regular tither. But tithing is the minimum, not the ceiling. If you are a regular tither, your next step is to regularly give an amount above 10%.
Offerings: These are gifts given in faith and obedience to God above and beyond your tithes. Tithes and offerings are vital to the health of our church and provide for all the areas of ministry and outreach. If you give an occasional offering, your next step is to become a generous giver.
 
2 Corinthians 9:7-8 NIV "Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart what to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all you need, you will abound in every good work."

Why We Give

Giving is an act of worship and obedience from a heart fully surrendered to Christ. It is a spiritual discipline that matures over time. We want to see generosity as part of your discipleship journey.
 
At Hernando Church of the Nazarene, we are called to live as the hands and feet of Jesus, impacting generations for Christ. As our church family continues to grow, our facilities are aging and sometimes don't fully reflect the warmth, excellence and hospitality we are known for. We understand that guests form impressions within minutes of arriving, and we want every person and every family to feel genuinely valued and welcomed, not only through our people, but also through the space we create.
 
Between 2014 and 2025, Citrus County's population has grown 22.5%. The growth is mainly driven by those moving from other states and is expected to continue to grow significantly in the years to come. New families are moving to Citrus Springs, Pine Ridge, Homosassa and Inverness, making our church perfectly positioned to reach these families and share the hope of Jesus.
 
Our mission is clear: to create spaces that help people move from where they are to where God wants them to be.
